Viewing near work further away may slow myopia progression.

In a 2019 paper Huang, and others, reported on an extensive study, following 10,743 children in Taipei. Importantly they found that a longer working distance for near tasks, > 30 cm, slowed myopia progression more than continuous near work or being outside. So, keeping your child’s near work further away than 30cms is another way to slow myopia progression.
